General Overview:
The Technical Services Coordinator is responsible for providing general supportclerical administrative communication and time management tasksto the Partners HealthCare Information Systems (IS) department supporting DanaFarber Cancer Institute (DFCI) residing at 20 Overland Street. This role includes providing dedicated support to the IS DFCI Corporate Manager of Technical Services as well as the telecommunications team. This position will report directly to the Corporate Manager of Technical Services and will be responsible for performing the below duties.
Responsibilities:
The Technical Services Coordinator must be able to work quickly and efficiently produce quality work in a timely manner juggle multiple tasks prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines. She or he will work cooperatively with the administrative and professional staff in the performance of his/her administrative and telecommunications duties. These duties and responsibilities will include:
Provides Pager support (approx. 2000 pagers). Includes device ordering testing inventory database and the creation modification and deletion of pager accounts. Trains enduser on paging procedures
Provides cell phone support and loaner pool. Includes the creation and deletion of cell phone accounts
Issues loaner laptops and projectors and maintains inventory distribution database
In conjunction with management help to determine customer paging cell phone and laptop requirements and arrange for the procurement of services to meet the clients needs (i.e. various types of paging equipment)
Creates Webex accounts and maintains associated log
Maintains battery supply order and ensures delivery to appropriate service areas
Orders assigns and maintains database of domestic and international calling cards
Handles bill management including the review processing and resolution of Telecom bills
Utilizes Service Now for trouble reporting
Runs various scheduled reports
Updates Technical Services Website and Partners Paging Directory
Maintains monthly OnCall schedule and distribution
Provides back up support to Telecom personnel as needed
Prepares various business documents using Word Excel or PowerPoint
Prepares internal forms (petty cash expense reports purchase requisitions cab vouchers etc.
