LICENSES CERTIFICATIONS and/or REGISTRATIONS:
Current Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant licensure in Massachusetts.
NP
Board certification by a national recognized certifying agency.
PA
Must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants within one year of hire; Must maintain this certification by completing required 100 hours of Continuing Medical Education credits every two years. In addition PA must demonstrate continued competence by passing a recertification exam every six years.
EDUCATION:
Masters degree from an accredited school of nursing as Nurse Practitioner.
OR
Graduate of an accredited American Medical Associationapproved Physician Assistant training program. A college degree is required.

The Reproductive Endocrine Unit in the Department of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant. This position works directly with Dr. Stephanie Seminara and will be an integral member of her kisspeptin research team and will work closely on recruitment consenting and caring for men and women with a variety of reproductive disorders. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in the research of new and peptides involved with reproduction.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing multiple investigational new drug studies including:
Coordinating all aspects of the Kisspeptin administration
Consenting patients to the research protocol
Handling regulatory approvals of all human studies
Conducting frequent blood sampling studies
Obtaining histories and performing physical examination of patients and normal volunteers in the outpatient setting
Collecting and screening medical records
Coordinating Dr. Seminaras clinical practice and assisting with patient care (once/week)
