We are seeking an InterSystems Object Script Developer to join our team and build highperformance interoperability solutions in the healthcare IT space. If you have a passion for healthcare data integration cuttingedge technology and solving complex challenges this role is for you.


What Youll Do

Develop & Optimize Integration Solutions

  • Design and implement scalable highvolume data integration and interoperability solutions using InterSystems HealthShare IRIS Ensemble Cache and ObjectScript.
  • Create enhance and maintain healthcare system interfaces using HL7v2 HL7v3 FHIR CDA and X12.
  • Implement terminology mappings (SNOMED ICD LOINC) and privacy/confidentiality filters.

Collaborate & Consult

  • Work with clients vendors and internal teams to define optimize and implement healthcare data exchange solutions.
  • Guide clients on best practices for health IT interoperability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration challenges.

Enhance Healthcare IT Infrastructure

  • Implement Master Patient Index (MPI) and Provider Directory (PD) solutions.
  • Develop REST/SOAP web services for data exchange and system interoperability.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy and security regulations.

Drive Continuous Improvement

  • Leverage modern SDLC tools and methodologies to streamline development.
  • Utilize GIT Atlassian and scripting to improve deployment and integration processes.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend innovative solutions.

What You Bring

Technical Expertise

  • 5 years of experience with InterSystems HealthShare IRIS Ensemble Cache and ObjectScript.
  • Handson experience with HL7 X12 CCD/CDA XML and JSON.
  • Strong background in backend web services such as REST and SOAP.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies and modern version control tools (e.g. Git Atlassian).

Healthcare IT Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Experience implementing MPI Provider Directories and terminology mapping solutions.
  • Familiarity with privacy and security frameworks in healthcare data exchange.

ProblemSolving & Collaboration

  • Ability to analyze complex integration scenarios and implement efficient scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to work with crossfunctional teams and clients.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IHE profiles and frameworks for data exchange.
  • Experience working with FHIRbased solutions.
  • Background in cloudbased healthcare applications and API development.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) for deployment automation.
  • Understanding of database optimization and performance tuning in InterSystems environments.
  • Previous experience working in agile teams and CI/CD pipelines.

Home Office Requirements

  • A minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for downloads and 1.5 Mbps for uploads is required.
  • A private WiFi network with a strong unique password is necessary to access company data or systems.

* The company provides a monthly stipend to support internet expenses. All new employees must conduct an internet speed test and submit the results during the onboarding process. Additionally ensure that the network password is not set to the default provided by the router.
