GENERALSUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
Reporting to the Administrative Director of Home Basea partnership of the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital thiscritical role encompasses Financial Reporting Expense Management GrantsManagement Contracts Management/ Administration. Work within a growing programas the Senior Financial Analyst responsible for a large range of tasks ranging underthe direction of the Administrative Director and trained by and in closecollaboration with the Department of Psychiatrys Finance Manager. Thisindividual will oversee the implementation and refinement of a new financialreporting and management system for processing checks corporate card expensemanagement and submission invoice processing and other related work. This person is responsible for assisting in thedesign modification research and implementation of streamlined processes inareas including: financial information collection processing interpretationand reporting.
PRINCIPALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide financial expertise and strategic direction indeveloping and managing the organizations financial profile and annual budgetcurrently totaling $11.5 million and in making monthly and quarterly revisionsas needed. In developing financial projections provide cash flow analysis.
Develop and maintain a new and more sophisticatedfinancial system and support the financial planning and system infrastructurerequired for the Home Base Programs growth and soon to be launched significantmultimillion dollar capital campaign.
Develop an accounting system that supports financialanalysis and matches Partners reports and use currently available Partners toolsto support the Home Base financial strategy.
Report to the Administrative Director and provideregular reports to Home Base Leadership Team for communication to the BoardLeadership Council and other funders include generating reviewing and supportingthe interpretation of financial statements. Track actual to budget on a monthlybasis and reproject as requested.
Responsible for processing accounts payable includingcheck request invoices and internal transfers.
Update and maintain databases with organizationsexpenses including accounts payable and payments to hospitals and grantees. Inaddition responsible for generating invoices and all accounts receivableservices.
Reconcile and review department revenue and expensesfor accuracy.
Responsible for complying with Partners Financepractices including policy and procedure compliance benefits and payrollchanges.
Act as contract liaison between Partners HealthcareFinance and Legal Offices. This includes working with outside legal counsel toexecute contracts and payments to vendors and consultants.
