Job Description
Store Manager/Duty Manager
Our client is in search of a motivated and experienced female Store Manager/Duty Manager to oversee the daytoday operations of their store at Omaha Beach. This role presents an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service lead a dynamic team and contribute to the strategic growth of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Procuring and purchasing products as well as negotiating deals with suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
- Providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Leading training and motivating a team to achieve store goals.
- Efficiently managing stock levels orders and stocktakes.
- Strategically planning for business growth and development.
- Overseeing daily cash reconciliations petty cash management and banking processes.
- Executing and managing store merchandising to attract customers.
- Enforcing company policies and procedures among staff.
- Maintaining security controls for cash keys alarms and stock.
- Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety guidelines.
- Handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints professionally.
- Maintaining a wellpresented store and encouraging repeat business.
- Managing liquor licensing requirements and adhering to regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in food retail is essential.
- Physically fit to meet the demands of the role.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Solid basic math skills.
- Proven customer service expertise.
- Experience in checkout operations.
