Counseling in Schools is currently seeking a Part Time 4 Day/ wk) School Based Counselor with a Masters Degree in any of the following areas: Creative Arts TherapySocial WorkerMental Health Counseling or a related Masters Degree to work at an elementary school in Brooklyn NY. CIS provides regular clinical supervision and professional development to all clinical staff.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience and familiarity with clinical documentation (records are both written and digital)
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization time management and multitasking abilities
• Selfstarter takes initiative motivated
• Works collaboratively in a team based setting
• Experience in schoolbased programs preferred
• Experience in crisis intervention and deescalation preferred.
• Experience in restorative practices is a plus

• This position is parttime 4 days/ wk) and inperson in Brooklyn NY
