Job Description
As Mine Geologist you will report to the Superintendent Mine Geology and will play an integral role in the ongoing success of our operations. Typically this will include providing geological input into site operations identifying geological uncertainties and managing resource risks on operating mine sites to an acceptable level and providing technical support engagement and project solutions to mine site to meet productivity/cost targets.
Qualifications :
- Tertiary qualification in Geoscience.
- Experience working in open pit mining operations (great but we will also consider Geologists who are keen to learn)
- Understanding of value drivers in large open pit mining operations and how these apply to planning decisions
- Familiarity with Projects Point Studio ArcGIS and Vulcan preferred
