Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Atlassian Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supporting and developing Javabased Atlassian applications (such as Jira Confluence) managing server configurations performance tuning and providing systemlevel support. This role also requires expertise in system administration automation through scripting and database management to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our Atlassian ecosystem.
Mandatory skills*
- Atlassian Application Development & Support: Develop and support Javabased Atlassian applications (Jira Confluence etc. ensuring proper server configurations and tuning for high performance.
- System Administration: Handle system administration tasks for both Linux and Windows environments including installation configuration troubleshooting and resource management.
- Upgrades & Patching: Manage upgrades patching and the application of security fixes to ensure the integrity and security of Atlassian products.
- Automation & Scripting: Utilize scripting languages such as Bash Python or Groovy to automate routine administrative tasks system maintenance and optimize the operations of Atlassian tools.
- Database Management: Troubleshoot and manage databases (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL) in the backend for Atlassian tools ensuring data integrity efficiency and smooth functioning.
- L2/L3 Support: Provide L2/L3 support working with crossfunctional teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement solutions for system performance improvements.
- Collaboration & Integration: Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to integrate custom features and thirdparty applications into the Atlassian ecosystem.
Performance Tuning & Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Atlassian applications and underlying systems to ensure reliability and responsiveness at scale.
Desired skills*
- Proficient in supporting and administering Javabased Atlassian applications (Jira Confluence etc..
- Strong experience with Linux and Windows operating systems including system administration tasks (installation troubleshooting resource management).
- Indepth experience performing upgrades applying patches and security fixes for enterpriselevel applications.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash Python Groovy) for automating system tasks and improving operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL PostgreSQL with the ability to troubleshoot and manage Atlassian tool backends.
- Experience providing L2/L3 technical support and collaborating effectively with crossfunctional teams to resolve technical challenges.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with a focus on automation and optimization of system operations.
