Job Description

Oregon Outreach Inc. (OOI) is seeking a highly qualified teacher for our Scappoose campus. This fulltime professional position provides classroom instruction for alternative school students in a small setting including small group or oneonone tutorials small group direct instruction and/or team teaching. The teacher must be able to provide instruction in a variety of subjects along with their certification area. This role requires strong collaboration skills to work effectively in a close coteaching environment.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the site lead teacher to create an interdisciplinary problembased curriculum that aligns with Common Core state standards and includes differentiation strategies to meet students unique needs.Develop new curriculum under the supervision of the lead teacher.Build trusting relationships that support students in achieving their postsecondary education and employment transition goals.Assist the Site Lead Teacher with administrative duties as needed.Salary: $51000 (Depends on Experience)
