Location: Austin TX; or residing in the state of Texas is preferred

iAAWG is seeking a Project Manager to the manage the Finance Transformation project for the organization. Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer you will be responsible for the planning and monitoring of projects within the sector. You will work in close collaboration with the various project leaders to ensure their progress and alignment with the expected objectives and deliverables.

Your Day to Day

  • Defines the scope objectives and deliverables of projects with stakeholders.
  • Defines the governance of projects to ensure that they run smoothly and that stakeholders are involved.
  • Participates as a leader in the development of project delivery strategies.
  • Plans projects including task definition scheduling and scheduling resource requirements risk management and budget development/monitoring. L
  • Leads and coordinates project by monitoring progress managing dependencies resolving issues and ensuring communication with stakeholders in collaboration with the PO.
  • Continuously monitors and reports project progress to all stakeholders: Ensures that project business objectives are met.
  • Provides direction and support to the project team.
  • Applies quality assurance principles and adheres to standards policies and procedures.
  • Prepares and presents reports defining project progress problems and solutions.
  • Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables.
  • Conducts postmortem evaluation (lessons learned) of projects under his/her responsibility.
  • Coordinates the preparation of project business cases as determined by senior management
  • Any other tasks related to the planning direction and control of the projects under his or her responsibility.

What You Have

  • Bachelors degree in administration or project management or related field
  • Accounting experience is strongly preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in managing business projects/initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of project management (including project management techniques and tools/software).
  • Strong communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and to work under pressure.
  • Ability to plan organize delegate and lead.
  • Critical thinking ability to influence and adapt and make decisions.
  • Experience in strategic planning risk and change management in a project would be an asset.
