Job Description

A wellrespected MEP firm based in Cherry Hill New Jersey is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer. This company provides a comprehensive array of services to its clients from detailed engineering and design to construction management services. The firm which has a staff of Engineers and Construction professionals covers all of the major disciplines but most of the projects include Mechanical HVAC Fire Protection Structural Electrical Chemical/Process and Controls. They serve a significant majority of the public sector as well as private clients in the power institutional manufacturing material handling healthcare and Pharmaceutical Industries. The successful candidate must be a quality oriented individual able to perform a wide range of structural analyses and design of steel frames connections concrete members equipment and piping supports and foundations; investigations/assessments of facilities; specification preparation; project and construction cost estimates; project scheduling for engineering projects. Candidates must be able to establish and develop longterm client relationships both in the Public and Private sectors.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor (BS) or Master (MS) Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
P.E. license with 10 years experience in structural engineering
Knowledge of all applicable codes building steel and reinforced concrete
Experience with structural design including analysis for structural supports loads and design integrity of existing structures
Must have Building Information Modeling using REVIT
Experience with renewable energy projects
LEED Certification or Certified Energy Auditor/Manager a plus
Commissioning and verification experience a plus
Leadership qualities are a must
Must be willing to travel from timetotime (no longer than 1 week)
