Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Develops understanding of function for procurement of parts manufacturing processes and supply base development.
- Establishes and maintains positive longterm relationships with suppliers through regular communication of performance status supplier meetings and supplier visits.
- Obtains and maintains supplier delivery promise dates confirmed ship dates changed ship dates and issues updates for open orders.
- Identifies and documents supplier delivery issues and codes for supplier performance reporting.
- Identifies issues and develops plans to improve and report On Time Delivery.
- Analyzes and monitors supplier deliveries and supplier delivery performance.
- Engages problem suppliers to drive and improve supplier delivery.
- Coordinates activities within the company to improve the working relationship with the customer and supply base.
- Performs supplier maintenance in required systems.
- Issues and follows up on supplier 8Ds and corrective actions.
- Handles QOS and purchasing metrics tracking and reporting.
- Designs implements and reviews reports that provide the necessary information to monitor customer requirements and supplier performance.
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities within the supply chain function.
Other duties may be assigned as required.

Qualifications
Functional Skills: SCM fundamentals & concept Supply management Analytical skills Good communication Cross country exposure.
Education Qualification: Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Industrial Engineer
No. of Years of Experience: 3 to 5 Years.
Professional Exposure: Auto components / Service Parts / Logistics / Inventory Planning & Management. Working Knowledge in SAP / BAAN / FCSD Systems would be an added advantage.
