Job Description

St. Pauls Lutheran School is hiring a 1st grade teacher to add an additional class section and maintain small class sizes in our supportive PK6th grade environment in Waverly Iowa. We are seeking an outgoing passionate and dedicated teacher that values the importance of faith and has the ability to engage students in a collaborative classroom community. Knowledge about MTSS technology integration Everyday Math Collaborative Classroom and Mystery Science helpful but not required. St. Pauls is fully accredited with the Iowa Department of Education and follows the Iowa Core. As an Elementary School Teacher you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young students and fostering their love for learning. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging classroom environment where students can thrive academically socially and emotionally. St. Pauls Lutheran School provides a faithbased education rooted in the Gospel a sense of belonging and community and an opportunity for Christian service. Students in Preschool through Grade 6 are immersed in academic excellence in a personalized learning environment. Candidates must be supportive of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and Schools mission and values but do not need to be Lutheran to apply.
