Job Description

Accounts Payable Administrator Trust and Payments

Toronto ON

Salary Range:$52500 $62500 /yr.

The Accounts Payable Administrator will work closely with the Finance Operations Team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all payments including trade accounts payable employee expenses and trust payments (investor remittances mortgage advances and property tax payments). You will provide support to our dynamic team of accounting professionals to analyze costs ensure completeness of all expenses and maintaining working files and documentation. You will also setup vendors and bank account details in Dynamics 365 Business Central and online banking platforms.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage accounts payable and trust payments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify and reconcile invoices employee expenses and trust payments.
  • Maintain accounts payable files and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Set up and maintain AP vendors and bank account details in Business Central and online banking platforms.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Support monthend and yearend closing processes related to accounts payable.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication both with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills with the proven ability to analyze various data sets.
  • Ability to take ownership of your work and demonstrate a high degree of accountability.
  • Strong process and systems skills.
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint SharePoint).
  • Previous experience in an administrator coordinator accounts payable or a similar role (an asset).
  • Prior experience with an accounting software and/or online banking system (an asset).
