Job Description
The School of Accountancy at Old Dominion University invites applications for parttime Adjunct teaching faculty. We are currently seeking individuals for Fall 2023 but this post will remain open and the applicant pool will be reviewed whenever more opportunities arise. Those selected will be assigned to teach our 200level introductory courses; namely Principles of Financial Accounting and Principles of Managerial Accounting. A typical workload includes teaching a maximum of two courses a semester in either (or both) facetoface or asynchronous (online) environments. Job duties include meeting all designated course instruction deadlines assign and grade course exams and other assigned materials; respond to students in a timely manner; and submit grades according to University guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certification (i.e. CPA CMA etc. Prior teaching experience Ability to teach facetoface during regular daytime business hours Proficiency in MS Excel and Data Analytics
