Title: Parttime Security Guard
Salary Range: $16.00 per hour
Contract Term Length:Not Applicable
Standard Hours:Up to 24 hours per week

WKCTC is a comprehensive community college that provides excellence in teaching a learning promotes student success and supports economic development.
Job Duties:
Performs periodic campus walkthrough; inspects and observes campus facilities secures rooms and buildings and notifies respective department of observed problems (items needing repair etc).
Responds to medical emergencies provides assistance as training allows and contacts EMS as needed.
Works with Director of Security to handle disruptions on campus utilizing conflict resolution practices and contacts local police department as needed.
Provides individuals escort service between cars and worksite as requested.
Assists with campus crisis situations with building evacuations drills etc as needed.
Monitors parking facilities insuring only authorized vehicles park in restricted areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED and one year related experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Security or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
