Job Description
- Plan organize and implement ageappropriate activities.
- Manage and maintain all activity supplies and equipment.
- Ensure correct techniques safety practices facility safety and personal safety according to age ability and skill levels.
- Ensure proper orientation happens for groups using equipment that requires instructions (i.e. archery crosscountry skiing climbing etc..
- Conduct training and skills checks for activities staff and volunteers.
- Maintain a close intimate relationship with God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
- Be an active participant in the life of a local church.
- Affirm and support our organizations Community Covenant and Statement of Faith and be committed to YFCs mission.
- Able to live and work in a camp environment during part of the year while being flexible and patient in nature.
- Embrace YFCs core values with a strong heart for evangelism.
- Ability to potentially obtain and maintain active certifications and training in designated areas including Lifeguard CPR/First Aid High Ropes Archery and Boating.
- Able to communicate and enforce policies and procedures to program participants and guests.
- Able to react quickly and properly in emergency situations.
- Able to work well in a team as well as on your own.
