The Opportunity

As a Junior Accountant you will play an important part in enabling KellyPartners next phase of growth. You will become an integral part of the broader team and be mentored by Partners to help you grow as a professional and into leadership positions. KellyPartners is committed to providing learning and development opportunities for all our team ensuring that you would have the resources and training to support you on this journey.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Assist in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals companies trusts partnerships and SMSFs
  • Prepare BAS IAS FBT CGT and PAYG for a variety of entities including companies and trusts.
  • Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Help your team provide exceptional service to our clients
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Participate in training seminars team meetings and social events.

About You

  • 612 months working experience in a Chartered Accounting practice. (desirable)
  • Recently graduated or undertaking your final semester of Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or similar.
  • Prior working experience using accounting software such as MYOB AE HowNow Active Ledger APS MYOB Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
  • Proactive selfmotivated and enthusiastic
