Job Description

Great opportunity to work with a global chemical leader in a Corporate Equipment Engineering role supporting strategic Rotating Equipment initiatives for chemical plant sites. Offering competitive salary bonus STI and relocation options.

  • Ensure safe costeffective operable rotating equipment and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current site needs.
  • Provide support on prioritization of machinery related projects.
  • Work in a team environment with other disciplines operations mechanical personnel
  • Direct improvements for increasing plant reliability.
  • Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices.
  • Provide technical training to mechanical and operations personnel.
  • Provide QA/QC on repairs onsite/offsite.
  • Provide vendor surveillance on major machine repairs.
  • Periodically review rotating equipment performance
  • Provide assistance during plant startups shutdowns and/or upsets.

Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years experience with industrial rotating equipment in chemical or refinery industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal) pumps (reciprocating and centrifugal) fans and blowers
  • Knowledge of Industry Standards (i.e. API ASME PIP etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priority items.
  • Demonstrated work experience as SME for Rotating Equipment.
