The Lindsay is situated a few minutes from the centre of Westbourne and all its amenities shops cafes restaurants and pubs. The home has a cinema and caf aswell as lounges a library and private dining areas for family and friends to come and enjoy when visiting their loved ones or celebrating a birthday or anniversary together.
The Lindsay is a care home offering nursing residential dementia and palliative care.
This home also benefits from an onsite beauty salon with a fulltime hairdresser offering a brilliant service to all the residents.

At The Lindsay staff take great care to focus on the person. Its important for residents to feel at home so it creates a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.

The chefs create wellcrafted menus made with the freshest ingredients. Soon after a resident arrives at The Lindsay staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.

Youll help us make health happen by:

• Using your passion for cooking and experience in a fresh food kitchen tocreate a varied and nutritional menu in line with the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
• Using your natural leadership skills to train and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience
• Being innovative in your approach to cooking and maintaining high standards
• Managing all mandatory paperwork including: adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines company policies and procedures budgets managing orders and deliveries
• Catering for special events or seasonal activities such as summer fetes Christmas parties and birthdays (as required)

* You will also be eligible to receive a bonus based on your performance. Chef Managers who achieve 6 KPIs will receive a quarterly incentive of 500 thats 2000 per year (subject to usual tax & NI deductions)

** Your starter bonus will be paid to you in the next available pay run once you have completed four weeks service and will be subject to deductions for tax and NI.
