Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
An earned doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution of higher education
Proven leadership and administrative skills and an established academic career consistent with an appointment to the rank of Professor of Mechanical Engineering with tenure
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrable abilities in academic program development
Strong administrative communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to excellence in both research and teaching
Understanding of the issues and concerns of a public teaching and research university including accreditation
