The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest and most complex agencies in the state and has over 17000 employees. It is responsible for ensuring the health safety and wellbeing of all North Carolinians.
The Division of Social Services provides direct services that address issues of poverty family violence and exploitation. We aim to prevent abuse neglect and exploitation of vulnerable citizens and promote selfreliance and selfsufficiency for individuals and families.
The North Carolina Child Support program operates in accordance with Public Law 93647 North Carolina General Statutesand federal regulations. North Carolina Child Support Services utilizes a statewide case management and financial system known as the Automated Collection and Tracking System (ACTS). This position will work within the Systems and User Support Unit also known as the Functional Team for the North Carolina Child Support Services central office in Raleigh North Carolina. The Functional Team consists of seven Business Analysts and one Business Services Coordinator.

Experience working in all aspects of the NC Child Support Program or other social service programs
Demonstrated skills in researching analyzing and interpreting Federal and State laws
Experience in systems development tools and techniques
Four year degree and four years of experience in business systems analysis and design in the functional area assigned; or four year degree in computer science information systems or related field in the functional area assigned and three years of experience in business systems analysis and design; or two year degree in computer science information systems or related field in the functional area assigned and five years of experience in business systems analysis and design; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
