The ISOM Department is recruiting to hire one fulltime tenure eligible Assistant Professor with an anticipated start date of 9/16/2025. Assistant Professors have an annual service period of nine months. University of Washington faculty members engage in research teaching and service. Duties include conducting highquality scholarly research in information systems leading to publication in top academic journals and effectively teaching courses at all levels. The base salary range for these positions will be between $23000 and $34000 per month commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Other compensation associated with this position may include a moving allowance summer research funding endowments (tenured) and administrative supplements.
Applicants must have or be nearing completion of a PhD or foreign equivalent in Business Administration Information Systems Computer Science Economics or a related field by the date of appointment. A qualified candidate may be considered for temporary appointment as an Acting Assistant Professor pending PhD with conversion to appointment as an Assistant Professor after degree conferral if the terminal degree has not been conferred by the position start date.
