Shift: Monday Friday 2pm10pm CT

Discover Impactful Work:

Performs assigned tasks such as gathering washing drying and restocking glassware in a highly regulated environment. Performs daily work assignments accurately and in a timely manner. Work is performed in a clinical/GMP environment.

A day in the Life:

  • Perform any or all Glassware Washing functions to include oversight and performance of a variety of complex standard tasks and daily tasks in support of the Glassware Washing department.
  • Assists/fulfills lab requests for glassware via email/RAM requests.
  • Restocks lab cabinets with properly washed/inspected glassware.
  • Maintains glass wash units to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintains 5S within glass washrooms.
  • Assists with monthly glassware inventory.
  • Provides daily metrics and other required departmental statistics.
  • Delivery/pickup of glassware across campus when required.
  • Solution/HPLC waste dumping throughout campus.
  • Providing green tagging duties on equipment throughout campus.
  • Performs work assignments accurately and in a timely and safe manner.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Technical positions may require a certificate

Experience

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities required to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education training and experience.

In some cases an equivalency consisting of a combination of appropriate education training and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Understanding of GLP/GCP
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong detail orientation
  • Problem solving/troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to read identify and transcribe details accurately
  • Ability to multitask and handle high pressure situations
