Job Description

The Windham Southwest Supervisory Union (WSWSU) is seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Assistant School Business Manager to support the financial and operational functions of our schools. This position will work closely with the Business Manager to oversee financial processes budgeting payroll accounts payable/receivable and compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills a willingness to learn and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fastpaced educational environment.This role provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth with mentorship and guidance on becoming a Vermont School Business Manager and Massachusetts School Business Manager. The selected candidate will receive training on statespecific financial policies grant management and school funding structures as well as support in obtaining relevant certifications and professional development.Candidates should have a background in finance accounting or business administration with experience in school finance preferred but not required. Strong organizational and communication skills as well as proficiency in financial software and spreadsheets are essential. WSWSU is committed to fostering growth and ensuring that our Assistant School Business Manager is wellprepared for future leadership in school business management.
