Job Description

Are you a skilled HVAC and Plumbing Mechanical Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity With a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and a minimum of 5 years experience in technical design and consulting engineering you could be our next team member. Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Trane TRACE 700 and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. In this role youll analyze design and document HVAC systems coordinate projects mentor junior staff and more. You Have:

  • A bachelors degree in HVAC and Plumbing Mechanical Engineering Architectural Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of related technical design and consulting engineering experience designing HVAC plumbing and special systems for new and renovated healthcare commercial higher education and other critical building types.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit Trane TRACE 700 and the Microsoft Office Suite

You Will:

  • Perform analysis design and documentation of heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and controls
  • Perform system assessments and prepare technical reports
  • Review submittals RFIs and contractor proposed change orders and conduct site observations.
  • Coordinate the work of mechanical designers and junior staff assigned to the project.
  • Assist with construction site visits as required for observation answering contractor questions or representing the owner in preparing punch lists
  • Create and develop planning and design concepts for projects
  • Prepare presentation drawings and otherwise assist in presentations both internally and externally.
  • Mentor and train junior staff
