Job Description

Celina City Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Intervention Specialist to join our team. The Intervention Specialist will work collaboratively with classroom teachers administrators and parents to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment providing targeted interventions and ensuring that all students achieve academic success while also supporting the schools vision to challenge prepare and empower every student to become a lifelong learner who can contribute to the betterment of society. Summary:Under the general supervision of the School Principal plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students including strategies to meet diverse student needs.Requirements: Must have proper licensure. Highly motivated person. Plans/Implements student learning experiences using a differentiated curriculum aligned to state standards for students with learning challenges and possible behavioral needs. Plans/Writes/Monitors Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans for assigned caseloads.
