Job Description
Responsibilities
The Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) is the primary resource for information system and cybersecurity matters.
- Provides technical programmatic and Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) support.
- Ensures the uptodate development and implementation of information security policy requirements and procedures within an organizations business processes.
- Reviews documentation from information obtained from customer using accepted guidelines such as Risk Management Framework.
- Implements customer security requirements within an organizations business processes ensuring the applications are ready for the A&A process.
- Authoring to develop A&A documentation to support teams technical solutions.
- Develops and completes system security plans and contingency plans.
- May recommend system enhancements to improve cybersecurity posture.
- Provides information assurance support for the development and implementation of security architectures to meet new and evolving security requirements.
Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
- BA/BS and 5 years of experience; Masters and 3 years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Candidate shall demonstrate strong experience with customers Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.
- Candidate will have accreditation tool experience.
- Candidate demonstrates strong understanding of Customer Cyber Security Policies.
- Candidate demonstrates strong communication skills.
- Candidate demonstrates experience working with and across teams and handling multiple projects at once.
- Candidate demonstrates understanding of strong security practices and working with Security Officers.
- Candidate should have professional certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CASP CISA Security).
