As a key player in our prepress department you will ensure the flawless production of flexographic printing plates and contribute to our ambitious goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce Flexographic Printing Plates and Purchase Orders for use in daily Press operations.
  • Inspect and release Printing Plates for press manufacturing to guarantee exceptional quality.
  • Generate Die Specification Drawings and build Purchase Orders for ordering tooling.
  • Assist in scheduling outside vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the PrePress Department.
  • Train inexperienced employees to support increased efficiencies and uphold our worldclass standards.
  • Maintain daily upkeep of the area and equipment as stated by maintenance procedures.
  • Follow Corporate Policies and SOPs strictly to meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with Project Management to address project needs and ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with management to address needs associated with increased efficiencies and quality.
  • Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility to maintain our proven track record.
  • Demonstrate and promote the company vision embodying our commitment to excellence.
  • Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner prioritizing the wellbeing of all team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs and support our ambitious objectives.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience is necessary.
  • Experience in working with the Press Department is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency with art design and layout software such as Adobe InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Professional education in the Graphic Artistry field is preferred showcasing your dedication to your craft
  • Experience with Digital Image Setting Equipment & Software is preferred highlighting your technical expertise.
  • Proven experience in Flexographic plate making is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately in a lively open floor plan environment demonstrating your adaptability and precision.

    Compensation and Benefits

    The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $17.71$26.56.

    This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes:
