Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Program Security professional to join our aviation program. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of aviation operations personnel and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government security protocols risk management aviation operations and the governments 700 series ICDs
Examples of duties include but not limited to:
- Develop and implement security policies procedures and protocols for aviation operations in compliance with government requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with the client to enhance security measures and response strategies.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents and trends preparing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide training and support to staff on security best practices emergency response procedures and compliance requirements.
- Participate in security audits and inspections to ensure adherence to established security standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans for security breaches or emergencies.
- Serve as a liaison with security personnel and stakeholders facilitating effective communication and coordination during operations.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Experience with security risk assessment methodologies and security management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion in sensitive situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in security management (e.g. PSP CPP) or related areas.
- Familiarity with advanced security technologies and systems used in aviation.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelors degree in Security Management Criminal Justice Aviation Management or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations preferably within the aviation industry or government sector.
- Prior customer experience
- TS/SCI with polygraph
- 5 years of Program Security experience
