Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated energetic and customerfocused Host to join our team! You will be welcoming guests seating them in the restaurant and helping ensure they enjoy an exceptional dining experience. Perfect position for someone looking to network and build a loyal client base. Our guests are the Whos Who in the city of Nashville! We are looking for the top people in Hospitality.
You are a natural people person who can quickly build rapport with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere. Detailoriented and able to manage multiple positions you rely on your excellent organization and communication skills to bring your best each day for yourself restaurant staff and guests.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas.
- Provide guests with food and wine menus.
- Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatings.
- Inform guests of who will be serving them to ensure smooth handoff to the service staff.
- Inform servers of any special occasions dietary restrictions special requests etc.
- Manage the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas provide accurate wait times to incoming guests if appropriate.
- Answer the phone and occasionally take togo orders.
- Keep the host stand neat tidy and presentable for guests.
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant hosting or serving experience preferred but not required.
- Friendly and customerfocused personality.
- Ability to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests as well as being able to understand requests for assistance.
- Ability to clearly communicate guests needs to servers bussers managers etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.

Compensation: $20.00 $24.00 per hour
