Job Description
The Skating School instructor will play a key role in the of our LearntoSkate and/or Adult Hockey instructional programs. In addition to following the curriculum and teaching skills on the ice the instructor is expected to provide feedback to students during lessons and at the end of the session. The instructor will work with other instructors and program leadership to ensure that group placement is accurate testing standards are met and customer satisfaction is achieved. Depending on program needs the instructor may be asked to assist with program administration tasks.
Responsibilities
On Ice Duties: Lead group skating lessons for students 3yo Adult. Teach demonstrate and evaluate skating and/or hockey skills. Ensure a positive and safe environment for all participants. Adhere to lesson criteria and testing standards. Off Ice Duties: Develop practice plans. Help develop training curriculum. Assist with skate fitting. Assist with checkin. Other customer service duties as needed. Other administrative tasks as needed.
