This role requires a methodical and logical approach to object documentation and research a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask across various projects. The ideal candidate will have prior research experience and a postgraduate degree in fine arts art history art aesthetics or a related field.
About DAG:
Postgraduate degree in Fine Arts Art History Art Aesthetics or a related research field
35 years of experience in provenance research documentation or a related area within an art gallery or museum setting
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good knowledge of artwork mediums and technology development processes and basic technical elements
Proficiency in using research databases and digital tools for documentation
Creative individual with drive and the ability to take initiative
Values of adaptability and sincerity are critical
Ability to adhere to project management structures systems and processes and follow through both personally and with team members
Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Good writing skills and an understanding of how to approach diverse stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and good observation skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Ability to produce clear coherent creative briefs and project reports
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
