Job Description
Responsible for leading directing and controlling children while at Camp La Costa.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilites include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for the children involved in Camp La Costa.
- Responsible for carrying out the proper signin and signout procedures.
- Responsible for helping the children carry out the days activities and crafts. Before the day begins you will need to understand your role in the days activities.
- Energetically involved in the camps activities.
- Maintain a neat clean professional appearance.
- Assist with checkins at the pool gate.
- Occasionally monitor lines at the slide.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Previous child care experience is preferred.
- Must obtain CPR certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Must obtain a San Diego County Food Handlers card upon employment.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate: $18.75
