Description
Responsibilities
Conduct financial analysis research and due diligence on transactions
Support deal teams with pitch books and presentations
Build and maintain financial models forecasts and data tools
Analyze markets and industry trends
Assist in transaction and documentation
Collaborate across teams in corporate finance MandA and capital markets
Manage data rooms and related documentation
Prepare announcements and investor meeting materials
Research and curate content for internal and external publications
Update deal pipelines presentations and marketing materials
Participate in meetings with investors and partners
Conduct due diligence including KYC and background checks
Prepare investment memoranda and present to Investment Committee
Benchmark financials and ensure covenant compliance
Requirements
Degree in Economics Business Finance Accounting Investments or related field
Minimum of 80 in matric Mathematics and 70 in English (or equivalent Alevels)
Prior experience in financial institutions credit investing/analysis or private capital is advantageous
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Team player with a proactive mindset
Bonus: Proficiency in French Portuguese or Mandarin
