In our quest to leave this world better than we found it TRS Group Inc. is expanding our PFAS Remediation business and is in search of hardworking individuals who want to make a difference. In this role you will perform AFFF cleanout of firefighting systems and vehicles and manage water treatment to ensure harmful chemicals do not make their way back into the environment. Work is often performed in firehouses and airports where we take our patented technology directly to the source. This position will involve manual labor some heavy lifting heavy travel and overtime.
What you will do:
- Travel to job sites and facilitate set up of TRS equipment to accommodate specific fire suppression systems
- Monitor system operations and identify data gaps or changes in remedial progress
- Conduct sampling to ensure results
- Maintain clean and safe working environment
- Communicate with clients to answer questions and keep them informed
- Prepare documents and reports for clients and management
To be successful in this role you must:
- Be mechanically inclined.
- Have a working understanding of water treatment systems (flocculation fluid circulation systems etc..
- Have experience with the collection and management of environmental samples for laboratory analysis.
- Be an effective communicator verbally and in writing. You must be able to write and edit plans reports and procedures and work within the MS Office suite including Outlook Word and Excel.
- HAZWOPER certification will be required before starting work at a job site.
- Construction experience is a plus.
