Job Description
RPOs client is seeking experienced Seafreight and Airfreight Import Controllers to join their team. One position is available in each department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the import process for seafreight or airfreight shipments.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation for customs clearance.
- Liaise with clients shipping lines and other stakeholders to ensure smooth import operations.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays or issues.
- Handle invoicing billing and payment processes related to import shipments.
- Maintain uptodate records and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Requirements:
- 37 years of experience in freight and clearing (No shipping lines or courier).
- Valid drivers license and own car (Nonnegotiable).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in freight and clearing operations.
