Position Summary
The Division of Pediatric Nephrology and Hypertension in the Department of Pediatrics at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans LA in conjunction with Manning Family Childrens is recruiting a BC/BE (or equivalent) Pediatric Nephrologist for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor Associate Professor or Professor (clinical nontenure track). Rank will be determined by the candidates credentials and experience. Proficiency in dialysis and apheresis is desirable. The successful candidate will join a rapidly growing nephrology service. The Division offers a full range of nephrology services including all modalities of renal replacement therapy and plasmapheresis in supporting neonatal pediatric critical care oncology bone marrow transplant and kidney transplantation program with emphasis on clinical care and teaching. The selected candidate will become actively involved in all aspects of teaching including training medical students and residents. We also have a Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program with accreditation for five years. The LSU Department of Pediatrics has an accredited threeyear residency program.
