Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Supply & Demand Planner within a food manufacturing company based in Durban KZN.
Responsibilities
- Daily and weekly production plans and scheduling
- Raw material requirements
- Managing finished goods & WIP within min & max stocking levels
- Packing plans for excess raw material
- Creating and maintaining of seasonal stock build plan
- Crossfunctional communication between operations and sales
- Planning factory to maximize efficiency and capacity
- Sharing adherence to plan reports with factory management
- DIFOT
- Capacity planning and forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Microsoft Office Skills
- 3 5 years in demand and supply planning
- Proven experience as a planning specialist with a thorough understanding of planning methodologies
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of best practice planning and forecasting techniques
- Demonstrated experience in capacity planning forecasting executing and managing demand and planning activities
- Change management experience implementing strategic demand and planning initiatives driven from corporate strategy
- Current knowledge of industry practices trends and issues
