Job Description
Reports to:
- Master Electrician
Overview: ANCO is looking for dedicated Electricians seeking a fulfilling career working on a variety of commercial and utility projects. ANCO offers mentorship career progression great pay and benefits. As a Journeyman Electrician you will install and maintain the electrical wiring fixtures equipment and systems onsite. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience and is licensed to perform unsupervised work that is expected to meet NEC compliance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the work of an Apprentice Electrician in various tasks.
- Read blueprints and possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Use hand tools power tools test meters and diagnostic equipment.
- Exhibit excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Physical Requirements:
- High mechanical aptitude good with hands organized and analytical.
- Endure prolonged periods of sitting standing kneeling bending and climbing ladders.
- Possess physical strength to pull wires and cables through conduits.
- Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable with heights.
