Job Summary
The Copywriter is responsible for brainstorming creating and transforming ideas into words for articles advertisements publications and pamphlets. Express the Ritter voice through text for internet content websites press releases flyers and direct mail.
Primary Responsibilities:
Write clear and persuasive copy for marketing department campaigns including but not limited to email blasts direct mail sticky posts white papers articles scripts banners press releases and flyers.
Work with design digital development and sales teams to complete projects in a timely manner.
Explore different ideas and concepts for both visual and verbal elements in tandem with the creative team.
Work within tight deadlines and respond to feedback in a timely manner.
Write and check copy for spelling and grammar errors.
Research the technical properties of the products/companies you are asked to write about.
Consider laws and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations governing copy.
Learn and use the companys content management systems to maintain and build web content.
Assumes responsibility for miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
2year degree required 4year degree preferred.
Basic understanding of insurance and insurance sales preferred.
Knowledge of sales and New Business operations and procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent computer and typing skills.
Good customer service skills.
Basic comprehension of computer programs website development and basic coding including HTML.
