Job Description
Ecolab is seeking an experienced and dedicated AZ Chemical Delivery Driver to join its logistics team based out of Burlington ON. In this fulltime yearround position you will be responsible for safely delivering chemical products to various industries in Ontario and Quebec. If you like travelling on the road and meeting people you might be the person we are looking for!

What You Will Do:
- Safely operate vehicles including delivery trucks tank trunks overtheroad trucks.
- Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times.
- Perform daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections
- Load trailers and plan out schedule based on customer orders to meet customer delivery requirements
- Ensure accurate and uptodate delivery location maps and operate in accordance with regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials
- Maintain drivers hours of service by using SamSara ELD reporting.
- Maintain regular communication with sales and supervisor in order to report field problems and/or safety hazards
- Work closely with sales team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Wear appropriate safety gear during delivery operations
- Keep current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills
- Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment
Position Details:
- Based out of Burlington ON with travel through Ontario (Sarnia Sudbury Belleville Toronto and surrounding areas).
- Some out of province travel to Quebec may be required as needed.
- Scheduled deliveries will be Monday to Friday with some overtime as needed.
- Schedule will vary based on customer orders up to 3 to 4 nights of overnight travel may be required per week.
As an Industry leader Ecolab offers a training program designed to provide the tools and resources for you to be one of the best in your field. This position requires successful completion of the 8 week infield and classroom paid training program in order to maintain employment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess a current Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with all the relevant endorsements
- 3 years commercial driving experience
- 5 years of an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual or strong French verbal communication skills are an asset
- Experience operating forklifts drum dollies trailer hoists chemical pumps hoses
- Experience handling products in various types of packages including drums totes will be an asset
- Knowledge of equipment compliant with Federal Safety Regulations and regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials.
