Overview
The Florida School of Professional Psychology (FSPP) at National Louis University (NLU) located in Tampa FL seeks exceptional practitionerscholar applicants for FullTime Open Rank Professor Clinical Psychology a core faculty position within our APAAccredited Clinical Psychology doctoral program.
Successful candidates will join a cohesive faculty of outstanding practitionerscholars who share a commitment and passion to training future healthservice psychologists and providing psychological services in a diverse community. This is a tenmonth fulltime position with assigned professional responsibilities for teaching scholarship and service.
Ideal applicants will be licensed clinical psychologists with the ability to teach doctoratelevel courses in one or more of the following primary areas:
- Psychological Assessment (e.g. Cognitive Assessment Objective Personality Assessment Projective Personality Assessment Integrative Assessment and Psychopathology)
- Theory and Therapy Courses (e.g. Intervention I and II Integrative Approaches to Psychotherapy)
- Group Psychotherapy
About FSPP at National Louis University
The APAAccredited Florida School of Professional Psychology PsyD program has a rich tradition of training graduates to engage the world as healthservice psychologists. The program employs a practitionerscholar model and offers a curriculum designed to prepare clinicians who provide scientifically grounded theoretically informed and culturally responsive psychological services. FSPP alumni practice in all 50 states and in several countries around the world.

In addition the University has two suburban locations and a Florida regional campus.
Essential Responsibilities
In addition to teaching within their area of expertise core faculty will:
- Engage in academic advising for assigned doctoral advisees
- Hold active membership in departmental and campuswide governance committees
- Teach 24 credits per year; develop syllabi and teaching materials related to courses taught
- Supervise doctoral dissertations and serve on dissertation committees
- Participate in program assessment student learning assessment curriculum review academic admissions processes and other program activities
- Participate in scholarly pursuits
Qualifications

- PhD/PsyD from an APAAccredited program
- Licenseeligibility in Florida (not required for nonpractitioner candidates)
- Passion for teaching and experience in graduate clinical education and training
- Strong ability to mentor graduate students particularly nontraditional students
- Adherence to the highest level of professional conduct and ethical standards
- Graduate and postgraduate experience working with diverse client populations
- Demonstrated participation in scholarly and/or professional activities
- Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning
- Professional experience in APAAccredited practitionerscholar programs a plus

Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Offers are based on multiple factors permitted by law including but not limited to: budgetary considerations jobrelated knowledge/skills experience current/previous faculty rank market considerations tenure and standing with the university (applicable to current employees) and internal equity.
