About the role
The Compliance and Finance Support Officer is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive and flexible financial support. The post holder will maintain timely and accurate records for financial transactions ensuring that processes and controls are adhered to.
The successful candidate will raise and process purchase orders invoices credit notes and perform goods receipting. They will be expected to perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested and provide support in the resolution of complex financial queries.
The Compliance & Finance Support Officer will support the promotion of effective and efficient service delivery to improve the overall performance of financial administrative and data quality activities within the Service.
About you
Ideally you will have experience working in a finance or accounting team with a good understanding of invoicing reconciliation finance administration and Account P2P processes.
Able to learn and perform new tasks quickly and efficiently.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
A logical and methodical approach to identifying and resolving issues independently.
Good IT skills including MS Excel and financial application or ERP software packages (e.g. Oracle).
Ability to identify matters which require urgent attention and manage conflicting priorities and respond to unexpected demands.
