Pediatric Cardiologist - Full Time

This position is primarily based atSt. Josephs Childrens Hospitaland includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.The ideal candidate will beboardcertified/boardeligiblein pediatric cardiology and possess excellent clinical skills a commitment to patientcentered care and a passion for advancing the field of cardiology. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and make a meaningful impact on the cardiovascular health of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care through the evaluation diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases using noninvasive techniques.
• Participate ininpatient coverage with the opportunity to performTransesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)if desired.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referring providers in the region to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
• Share general pediatric cardiology call coverage equally with 12 fulltime physicians in the group.
• Collaborate with a team of highly respected specialists in fetal cardiology electrophysiology catheterization cardiomyopathy pulmonary hypertension cardiac imaging preventive cardiology and adult congenital heart disease.
• Work in conjunction with theTampa Bay Adult Congenital Heart Center which provides lifelong care for adult patients with congenital heart conditions.

Qualifications:

• Board certification/board eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology.
• State medical licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
• TEE experienceis preferred but not required.
