About The Role

As a Sales Manager Cranes in our NSW Australia office you will have the opportunity to play a role in overseeing managing and growing sales activities of Cranes in Australia to meet business requirements.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Relationship Development:

    • Represent Hyva and acquire new and exciting businesses.
    • Achieve sales targets within the assigned market.
    • Set and follow a periodic work program.
    • Expand commercial activities by visiting new and existing clients.
    • Negotiate contracts and sales conditions within prescribed limits.
    • Confirm contracts or sales orders after successful negotiations.
    • Assess reasons for unsuccessful sales and provide associated correspondence.
    • Prepare reports on sales visit progress and results for the Regional Director/Managing Director.
    • Manage the sales team setting targets objectives and following up on tasks.
    • Develop the sales budget and structure (costs).
  • Commercial Policy Development:

    • Actively participate in sales meetings.
    • Identify and report industry trends and developments to the Regional Director/Managing Director.
    • Collect interpret and report competitor information.
    • Identify new product and sales opportunities and report findings.
    • Identify service or sales transaction issues and suggest improvements.
    • Contribute to the preparation of the sales plan.
  • of Promotional Activities:

    • Initiate promotional activities.
    • Provide information at fairs.
  • Client and Company Relations:

    • Provide clients with both oral and written information.
    • Answer client inquiries and take care of client communication.
  • Communication with Sales Team and Back Office:

    • Maintain intensive contact with the team regarding work development.
    • Provide feedback on potential market development.
    • Oversee correct order management.
    • Support the Back Office with commercial tasks.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • More than 5 years of Management experiencein a comparable function eg: Sales / Marketing / Technology
  • Basic knowledge in Accounting and/or Financial area
  • Excellent knowledge and experience inCommercial Vehicleand/orTransport Marketindustry
  • Good knowledge of company administration country laws & regulations
  • Strong Client Service skills:ability to interact professionally with clients
  • Openminded Mentality:Ability to work in an international organization
  • Others:Strong leadership & presentation skills
