Your Role
The QC Associate Scientist at MilliporeSigma is responsible for planning and performing chemical analysis with a variety of techniques with an emphasis on HPLC and GC analysis. They will need to solve analytical problems and work independently to complete projects quickly using analytical chemistry principles practices methods and techniques.
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Biology or related Life Sciences field OR High School Diploma/GED and 1 years experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in Chromatography and utilizing analytical chemistry techniques to solve challenging problems.
- Experienceworking in a lab with chemicals. Safety and confidence working in a lab environment are essential.
- Knowledge of Lab Safety procedures and ALCOA
- Strong background in Analytical Chemistry and have demonstrated skill with instrumentation in their past work experience research and or education
- Background in running a variety of instruments and methods with a focus on HPLC and GC.
- Ability to collaborate with other members of the QC group to complete projects
- Knowledge of Compendial Government and ISO requirements and guidelines
- Demonstrate flexibility responding to changing priorities and effectively multitask to complete projects on time.
