Shift: Evening or Overnight shift
Pay Range: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour

Position Overview:

The RN Supervisor at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Pawling plays a vital role in promoting and restoring patients health. You will be responsible for the daytoday management and longterm planning of patient care overseeing staff collaborating with physicians and providing both physical and psychological support for patients friends and families CAREER GROWTH POTENTIAL!

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify patient service requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual patients as well as others in a position to understand service needs.
• Complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional psychological and spiritual support to patients friends and families.
• Provide information to patients and the healthcare team by answering questions and addressing requests. Resolve patient needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures rules and regulations. Seek assistance from other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Protect patients and employees by developing and interpreting infectioncontrol policies enforcing medication administration and ensuring compliance with controlled substance regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality by monitoring the secure processing of confidential information.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.
• Oversee medical and administrative equipment by verifying the availability of emergency equipment completing preventive maintenance troubleshooting malfunctions and coordinating repairs.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams by communicating information responding to requests building rapport and participating in team problemsolving.

Requirements:

• Current NYS RN Licensure (BSN preferred but not required).
• Minimum two years of experience in LongTerm Care or medical/surgical settings.
• Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.
