Overall Purpose:Responsible for supporting aircraft safety through meticulous inspection repair and preventive maintenance in compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in company aircraft.
- Ensure the timely completion of maintenance tasks to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities inspections and repairs.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to company safety and quality standards.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of necessary parts and equipment.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in company aircraft focusing on OEM inspection tasks troubleshooting and modifications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in aircraft maintenance technology and practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenancerelated problems on time.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously staying organized meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of work quality.
- Collaborate with the flight department teams to support projects and customer requests.
- Actively participate in business aviation industry committee meetings.
- Occasionally travel to support company aircraft and events.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance with a preference for experience with Gulfstream G550 G600 or G500 models.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
- Proficient in project management with a strong focus on time management scheduling and multitasking.
- Extensive experience in customer service with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools such as CAMP.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in routine physical tasks such as walking bending squatting and working in varying environments (e.g. hangars office).
- Strong problemsolving abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
- Must be comfortable with independent decisionmaking and working under minimal supervision.
- Adaptability to work in both an office environment and handson aircraft environment with fluctuating temperatures.
Compensation:Our Specialist Maintenance Managers earn between $106100 $159100. Additionally AT&T offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance tuition reimbursement paid time off and discounts on products and services. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography experience expertise and education/training.
