Job summary

As a Sales and Account Management Support you will play a critical role in driving new business by supporting the sales team in prospecting generating leads and managing client relationships. You will be responsible for actively cold calling potential clients identifying new opportunities and opening doors to new business. Working closely with the sales team your efforts will help facilitate connections and build a pipeline of qualified leads.

In addition you will take on key account management responsibilities ensuring that existing clients receive ongoing support and exceptional service. You will help nurture relationships identify opportunities for upselling and crossselling and serve as a point of contact for client inquiries or concerns. Your role will be integral in maintaining longterm client relationships ensuring client satisfaction and contributing to client retention.

From a sales support perspective you will also play a crucial role leading up to closing deals ensuring that the sales team meets and exceeds their targets while contributing to the overall growth of the company. Your expertise in outreach relationship building lead generation and account management will directly impact the teams success and the companys longterm client base.

Key responsibilities

  • An experienced deal maker who thrives on closing deals and able to work well on their own initiative.
  • Ensuring D365 (CRM system) is kept up to date
  • Able to work to and deliver on predetermined targets and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Sending out Elevator pitch emails that help set up telephone appointments
  • Researching new companies to target
  • Support the Group Director in identifying any other tools which the team may require to help close more deals
  • Cold calling; contact potential clients by telephone on a daily basis
  • Gather market and customer information
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure the best results for our clients and maximising reorders
  • Keep accurate records on clients at all times to update on a daily basis
  • Complete order forms sales briefing forms and design briefs where required
  • Provide data/reports showing follow up activity with current and prospective clients
  • Working with BD/s to offer support in lead generation and appropriate prep
  • Working with Established clients to ensure AM is up to expectations
  • Increase Revenue from existing clients by identifying and acting on upsell opportunities
  • Measure and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
  • Ensure regular communication and engagement with clients to strengthen relationships

Requirements:

  • Has proven experience in cold calling and sales
  • Must be a deal maker hungry to hit sales targets and make sales commissions.
  • Must have experience in lead generation; knows how to add value to the business by achieving sales and generating income.
  • Takes a commercial view when decision making in order to maximise the value to both TLC and the client. Understands the industry TLC operates in and is aware of new and emerging practices and how to exploit them

KPIs

  • 20 new client meetings per month 60 meeting over the 3 months)
  • 4 new Briefs per month
  • 2 proposal meetings per month
  • 2 face to face client meetings per month (Cape Town Based)
  • 2M closed deals by the end of month 3
  • Conduct at least 1 check in with each key client per week
  • Resolve 95 of client issues within 48 hours of receipt
